I am a BIG sweet tooth. I always want to have something sweet after my meal, so here is my favourite little post-meal dessert, which I actually also have it sometimes as a pre-workout snack!
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Total time: 70 minutes
Ingredients:
10 pitted Medjool dates
Smooth peanut putter
60g dark cacao butter
3 tbs cacao powder
4 tbs maple syrup
10 whole almonds
Desiccated coconut (optional)
Dry raspberries (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare 10 Medjool dates and slice each of them lengthways.
Take a cooking pot and weight in cacao butter, dark cacao powder and maple syrup. Cook on low-medium temperature until the mixture is melted.
In each Medjool date put one whole almond and half of teaspoon peanut butter. Once stuffed, dip it in the melted chocolate mixture and put it on a plate. Sprinkle on top with desiccated coconut and dry raspberries.
Repeat the same procedure with each Medjool date.
Place them in the fridge for 1h and enjoy it.
